Dealer lots & commercial fleets
Commercial & fleet hail repair. At lot scale.
CAT-team deployment within 24-48 hours. Dealer lots, rental fleets, corporate vehicle programs. When a storm takes out your inventory overnight, we work through the triage on wholesale paintless dent repair pricing and document everything in the CCC ONE format your carrier expects.
Who we serve
Four fleet categories we handle regularly.
-
New-vehicle dealer lots
Lots along I-35, I-435, and Metcalf get hit hardest. We've handled dealer-lot triage from dozens of the metro's largest dealerships — Ford, Chevrolet, Honda, Toyota, BMW, Lexus, Tesla. Wholesale paintless dent repair rates, VIN-level CCC ONE estimates, priority for vehicles closest to sold.
-
Used car & rental fleets
Revenue-service vehicles need to move fast. Rental agencies (Enterprise, Hertz, National, budget chains) need units back as quickly as possible. We pull them from the lot in batches, cycle them through our Olathe shop, and return cleaned and inspected.
-
Corporate vehicle fleets
Any fleet of 20+ vehicles across the KC metro. Pharma reps, utilities, construction, service companies. Often covered under a single commercial comprehensive policy that pays per-VIN. We bill direct or bill through the fleet manager.
-
Insurance direct-repair
Some carriers route hail claims directly to us. If your fleet has a direct-repair-provider setup and your carrier would benefit from another trusted paintless dent repair shop in the KC market, have them reach out.
How fleet work runs
Five-step process for multi-vehicle storm response.
- 01
Initial site survey
On-site within 24 hours of your call. We walk the lot, count affected vehicles by severity tier, photograph representative damage, and commit to a response timeline.
- 02
VIN-level inspection
Every affected vehicle gets inspected individually. Portable LED line boards, dent counts mapped by panel, classified to the CCC ONE matrix.
- 03
Consolidated estimate
One itemized estimate with per-VIN line items. Your carrier receives the same format they're already processing.
- 04
Batch repair
Priority order: newest, highest-value, closest-to-sold first. Vehicles move through the repair schedule so your inventory cycles faster than a shop working vehicle-by-vehicle.
- 05
Delivery + invoice
Repaired vehicles return to your lot. Invoicing is net-30 for dealer and corporate accounts, or billed direct-to-insurance when that's how the policy is structured.
Fleet economics
How CAT team deployment and wholesale pricing actually work.
What a CAT team assessment looks like on day one
CAT stands for catastrophe — the industry term for storm-response crews mobilized after large-scale hail events. When a dealer lot or fleet yard calls in after a storm, we deploy a triage crew within 24-48 hours. That first day is entirely assessment: we walk the entire inventory, tag each vehicle by severity tier (light, moderate, severe), photograph representative damage under portable LED line boards, and pull VIN numbers for every affected unit. The lot manager gets a preliminary vehicle count and severity breakdown before we leave the property.
The full inspection follows within 48 hours of the initial triage. Each tagged vehicle gets a panel-by-panel dent map in CCC ONE format — the same estimating system every major carrier uses to process claims. That means your accounting department or carrier of record receives documentation they can process without translation. For a 100-vehicle lot, the full inspection phase typically takes two to three days with a crew of three to four technicians working in rotation.
Why wholesale paintless dent repair pricing works differently than retail
Volume changes the math on both sides. Fleet and dealer accounts skip significant overhead that retail customers require — no individual pickup and delivery scheduling, no one-off supplement submissions to seven different insurers, no deductible assistance coordination per vehicle. That operational efficiency passes through as lower per-vehicle rates. A moderate hail repair that runs $3,500-$5,000 at retail typically falls into the $2,500-$3,800 range on wholesale fleet pricing, depending on volume commitment and vehicle mix.
Aluminum-bodied vehicles in the fleet still carry the 25% markup. Ford F-150s (2015+), Tesla Model 3/Y/S/X, Rivian, and luxury aluminum-body vehicles require heat-assisted paintless dent repair techniques and specialized tooling. That markup applies on fleet work the same as retail — the material science doesn't change because the volume does. We flag aluminum vehicles during the initial triage so there are no surprises on the consolidated estimate.
Multi-vehicle timelines and insurance coordination
A 50-vehicle lot with moderate damage typically clears in two to three weeks. We batch vehicles in groups of eight to twelve, cycling through the shop in priority order. Vehicles closest to a pending sale move first. Rental fleet units that are out of revenue service move next. The lot manager sets priority, and we adapt the schedule around what matters most to the business. For larger events — 100+ vehicles — the timeline extends to four to six weeks, sometimes with on-site crews supplementing the shop rotation.
Insurance coordination on fleet accounts runs through a single point of contact. Rather than filing individual claims per vehicle, most commercial comprehensive policies allow batch filing under a single event date. We submit one consolidated estimate with per-VIN line items, handle the supplement when the carrier's initial number comes in low, and invoice against the approved amount. The fleet manager signs one work authorization, not fifty. That single-channel approach cuts weeks off the administrative timeline compared to managing each vehicle as a separate retail claim.
Fleet FAQ
What dealer lots and fleet managers ask us.
-
Do you handle dealer lot inventory after a storm?
Yes — dealer-lot triage is one of our specialty B2B services. When hail hits a dealer lot, you're looking at dozens or hundreds of vehicles that can't be sold until they're repaired. We provide CAT-team deployment: a crew shows up within 24-48 hours, triages the inventory by severity, writes CCC ONE-formatted estimates per VIN, and works through the lot on wholesale paintless dent repair pricing.
-
What pricing do fleet and dealer customers get?
Wholesale paintless dent repair pricing matrix. Per-vehicle rates are lower than retail because of volume and because fleet work typically skips some of the customer-service overhead (no pickup scheduling, no individual supplement documentation with different insurers, no deductible assistance). We document everything in standard CCC ONE format for your accounting team and carrier of record.
-
Can you work on-site at our lot instead of bringing vehicles in?
Often, yes — depending on volume and vehicle mix. For large inventory events (50+ vehicles), we'll set up on-site with portable line boards and a crew. Smaller fleets or high-value vehicles come to our Olathe shop for best lighting and tool access. We'll walk through logistics on the initial call and recommend the approach that minimizes your downtime.
-
Do you invoice corporate fleet customers net-30?
Yes. Net-30 invoicing is standard for commercial accounts — dealerships, rental fleets, corporate transportation, and insurance carrier direct arrangements. We can also work direct-to-insurance on commercial comprehensive policies when that's how your coverage is structured.
-
How fast is CAT team response?
24-48 hours in-metro, 72 hours for outstate Kansas or Missouri. When a storm hits a major dealer lot or a regional fleet, we scale up within that window. Our network includes trusted paintless dent repair techs we've worked with for years — not day-laborers. Same quality standards apply on fleet work as on retail.
